What if your colleagues could find fulfilling work without having to jump ship?

This is a question that’s been on my mind ever since I started working with career changers back in 2016. I know I can help them navigate their way to a new job or career, but what if they didn’t have to go through this level of upheaval?

I’ve worked with people who used to love their work. Even, for some, to whom it was, at one point, a true calling (teachers, health professionals are the typical examples, but I’ve also seen it too with fashion designers, marketeers and many more.)

There are many contexts that can drive such people to seek a change - issues with colleagues, work no longer feeling like it aligns with their personal values, not feeling like they get to use their favourite skills in their work anymore (either because the role has changed or they’ve been promoted up and away from the work tasks they enjoyed).

Career coaching can empower your colleagues to:

  • Get clearer on what’s not currently working, and develop practical strategies for positive change and improvement

  • Reconnect with what’s important to them - their values, drivers and sense of purpose

  • Set goals that feel meaningful and develop strategies to work towards achieving them

  • Navigate work challenges and internal barriers such as imposter syndrome, fears and stress

  • Make key decisions about their career and how they want to progress

  • Get in the driving seat in “crafting” their job to better suit their skills and preferences, and - in doing so - offer greater value to the organisation
